Sugar Cookies

“Makes 7-8 dozen cookies.”
Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine
- ¾ cup Crisco baking sticks
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 eggs
- 4 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Cream together the first five ingredients in a large bowl. Add vanilla. Add dry ingredients.
- Roll batter into balls. Press balls flat on baking sheets with bottom of sugared glass.
- Decorate with sprinkles or sanding sugar as desired. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes.
- Makes 7 to 8 dozen cookies.
