Sharbateh Albaloo – Persian Sour Cherry Drink

One of my favorite beverages, holidays or otherwise! I use Zergut Sour Cherry Syrup, which is sold in the Twin Cities at Caspian Bistro & Marketplace and is available online.

Directions

  1. Take a glass and fill it with ice.
  2. Add sour cherry syrup—it is up to you how much syrup to put in, depending on how sweet you like your drink. (I typically add 1/8 cup syrup.)
  3. Then add water (or plain seltzer) and stir!
