Glazed Ham Meatballs

This family recipe is great for a brunch party, toasting with a mimosa, coffee,  orange juice, or whatever you prefer to drink in the morning.

Ingredients

  • Ham Balls:
    • 1 ½ pounds Ground Pork
    • 1 pound Ground Ham
    • 1 Egg
    • 1 cup Milk
    • 1 cup Cracker Crumbs
  • Glaze:
      • 1 ½ cup Brown Sugar
      • ½ cup Vinegar
    • ½ cup Water
    • 1 tsp (dry) Mustard

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the meatballs and then shape into golfball sized balls.
  3. Place in a large baking dish in a single layer – they should not be touching.
  4. Pour syrup glaze over the ham balls.
  5. Bake uncovered for 1 ½ hours.
